Instead you will need to feel your way through each stage or step and spend the time accordingly you are led to with each. They will all grow. For example, you may want to spend a week or two on each one; or perhaps you will be led to do more, or to focus on one for a longer time.
1.A Breathe in and out through your bodies with the heart at the center. Feel the breath penetrate through the entire body. Note the difference between the in-breath and the out-breath. Feel the expansion and contraction. Feel the turning of the breath. Let this grow and get stronger. Feel it extend more wherever there is an end or barrier or edge.
1.B Do the same as above. Identify yourself with/as the breath. Be breathed in and out. Realize.
1.C Do the same as above with one exception. Start with the heart that is if you did not have a physical or subtle body. The center of the cell, so to speak. Keep extending. IDENTIFY AS the breath.
1.D Continue this with one addition. Connect to and become aware more and more of that one breath that flows through and supports ALL. Identify with and Become of that.
1.E Continue this with one more addition. Feel the One Heart that exists that is more than a heart. Feel yourself as part of this. Identify with the breath/heart. Feel yourself being breathed as the breath through this.
2 and 3 are general repetitions of the above, each time with the addition of light (2) and love (3).
4. combines all in and as one light/love/breath. Become of this. Identify as this.
5. In going further toward that from which the light/love/breath comes and returns.

Notes:
In all these remember to be aware of the place between the breaths. It may take 'time', or not. It is heart dependent, not time dependent.
When one 'really gets' this, it grows into one action, actually, more accurately, one being. All of these seemingly separate steps are integrated into essentially one breath.
